Traditionally used by early Turkish civilisations for transporting produce and fishing our Double-masted Gulet boats have now been tastefully modernised to provide you with a comfortable cruise over the waters.

Itinerary

FETHIYE - GOCEK - DALYAN - FETHIYE -  7 NIGHTS CRUISE 

Day 1 - Welcome on Board

You’ll be transferred from the airport in Dalaman to our Gulet Hazer, where you’ll spend the night at Fethiye Harbour. Use the time to get to know your fellow on board companions and explore the harbour town Fethiye before you set for sailing on the following morning. 

Day 2 - Twelve Islands - Olu Deniz Beach 

Wake up to a tranquil breakfast on deck. You will start sailing after your welcome meeting and safey briefing on board. Sail past the 12 islands region and round to Karacaoren Bay for lunch in the once pirate's shelter. Also called aquarium bay, a good spot for snorkelling or maybe a test of your fishing skills with the locally preferred hand lines. Crossing the wide bay, Butterfly Valley waits to impress. High valley walls, a green valley floor and the white pebbled beach make a truly postcard scene. Several varieties of butterflies make this valley their home. Depending on conditions, lunch is served either here or at the next stop - the famous Oludeniz beach. Watch paragliders descend to the beach or micro light fly overhead. A chance to go ashore to stretch the legs. This evening's anchoring place is St Nicholas Island, the once home of Santa Claus himself. Dinner on board.

Day 3 - AgLiman Bay - Domuz Island 

It doesn't get any better than this - sail after breakfast to Ag Liman bay, go ashore to explore the island's remains of a once monastery and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Next stop is Dis Göbün bay for tea and overnight stay at Domuz Island and Dinner on board.

Day 4 - Gocek 

Today you sail to Gocek with the option of taking a trip to Dalyan by road (this is an optional extra for aprox £60). If you choose this option, you’ll embark on a riverboat tour of Dalyan, from the bay of Ekincik, immerse yourself in beautiful scenery whilst observing the wonderful wildlife on offer. The tour will take you to Turtle beach where loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs. Once at Dalyan, a guide will show you examples of Lycian tombs carved into the rocky cliffs, whilst offering insight and knowledge of the region. Your guide will offer their insight and knowledge of the area, and you’ll also be given the option to enjoy a traditional mud bath, before having lunch at a nearby restaurant. Sail to Yazlik bay for over night stay and dinner on board.

Day 5 - Behdri Bay - Sarsala Bay

This morning, after breakfast, depart and cruise across the bay of islands to Yazlik bay. At Yazlik bay swim to the shore to explore and may be find some almonds ready to be picked. Lunch at Behdri Rahmi bay before anchoring for the night at Sarsala bay for over night stay and dinner on board.

Day 6 - Cleaopatras Bath - Merdivenli Bay

After breakfast at Sarsala bay, swimming and snorkelling time before lunch is served. There may be an opportunity for a ski, banana boat or ringo ride here. Over to Cleaopatra's bath, a bay with ruins of a Roman bath on the water's edge claimed to have been a favourite spot of Cleopatra's - try a dip here to see if the beauty enhancing properties remain! After lunch sail to Merdivenli bay for over night stay and dinner on board.

Day 7 -  Turunc Bay - Fethiye 

The last full day on board. After breakfast at Merdivenli bay sail to last swim stop at Turunc bay,go ashore to explore the island's remains of a once monastry. The climb is rewarded by great views from the top. On return, cool off with a swim - the underwater ruins make interesting snorkelling in the deep, clear, blue. Lunch is served before raising anchor and a late afternoon cruise back to the port of Fethiye concludes a week of unmatchable relaxation. Last night spent on board the gulet in Fethiye port, dinner on shore. (Optional extra)

Day 8 - Farewell

Your final breakfast will be provided on board as we prepare to dock and say goodbye to Gulet Hazar.  Those who opted for TWIN CENTRE (Sail & Sand) - the second week at the Olympos Hotel, you begin the excitement all over again!

Useful Information

Dress Code - The dress code onboard the Gulet is casual. It is requested that there be no shoes when on board the Gulet for Health and Safety reasons. The beaches are mostly pebbly, and the pavements can be uneven so if you have beach shoes or suitable walking shoes, it is advised to pack these. It's advisable to bring a jacket for potentially cooler evenings, especially early and later in the season.

Currency – The main accepted currency is Turkish Lira or British Pound. Extra services on the boat can be paid for with cash only.  Please note, that ATMs are within proximity to the Departure Harbour

Drinking Water  – For your well-being, it is not recommended to consume tap water on board.

WiFi-  The availability of WIFI signal on board is constrained by limitations stemming from 4G signal issues.

Turkish Visa & Entry Requirements - British nationals travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes will no longer need a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.  For more information please visit www.evisa.gov.tr/en/.
